PROVERBS 11:1
"A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is His delight"
The essence of wisdom is contained in this little proverb. If others have to lose for you to win, then it can't be wisdom. The only exception to that is that the wicked will often lose when the righteous and the wise win.
Stealing through deceptive business practices means that one party is the winner and other parties are the losers. This is not the basis of a healthy economy. A healthy economy is the transfer of goods for a certain value that is agreed upon where everyone agrees on the worth of the item.
If a business is built on trickery and deception, it may prosper for the short term; but it will not make it in the long run. It will be discovered and cease to exist or pay a heavy price for its win-lose strategy.
When a person has an everybody wins philosophy in its business, then it is the delight of the Lord.
