Every time your pathway could stray outside of the boundaries of the Ten Commandments, turn away and go a different route. It is always destruction to wander outside of those boundaries.
We always have an excuse why it is important to take the name of the Lord in vain or lie or steal or be physically violent or commit adultery or covet. But it always leads to trouble and deep damage to our relationships.
Life is about relationships – as the two great commandments proclaim: LOVE GOD and LOVE OTHERS.
