Breakfast with Solomon - Matthew 12:43

"Calling His disciples to Him, He said to them, "Truly I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the contributors to the treasury"

Jesus' way of disciplining involved a lot of observing and hands-on projects, not a lot of book learning. People learn best when their lessons are connected to real world situations and/or get to put their hands on the levers of real power.

The Bible is full of this kind of mentoring and training. It is more important that you actually get what I teach instead of stealing a few techniques.

Jesus was spiritually evaluating the level of giving of each person giving to the temple. He was able to see what they gave and to hear from heaven the amount of treasure that it produced in heaven. The woman with the two mites was clearly the winner in heaven for the amount given.

Until tomorrow,
